[SUPSUB help file 1 page] This program substitutes D for ^P and U for ^N to impliment sub/superscripts on the XEROX 1750 termanal. D will move the typing up a half space U down. ^P and ^N are somewhat mnemonic for uP and dowN. This program also works for GENCOM and Anderson-Jacobson terminals by substituting different escape codes for those terminals The control characters can be inserted into a source file and then RUNOFFed. The ".CC" command is needed in the source file to tell RUNOFF to allow the control characters. After the output file from RUNOFF is produced, the mentioned substitutions can be made by entering: R PUB:SUPSUB outputfile=inputfile/TERMIN:XEROX (for XEROX 1750) or /TERMIN:AJ (for Anderson-Jacobson) or /TERMIN:GENCOM (for GENCOM terminal) If a terminal type is not specifid, XEROX is assumed If an output file name is not specified, the input file is overwritten.
